Topic : The prisoners should be allowed to vote.

What is my current topic?

  We live in liberal democracy. Also, we have a right to have freedom. But should we allow prisoners to vote? Nowadays, the topic, 'The prisoners should be allowed to vote', is controversial. Because prisoners are also citizens that can practice their rights, some people say allowing prisoners to vote is not that bad. On the other hand, if prisoners vote wrong person, it can bring confusion in our society. Therefore, I think to consider and try to find resolution for this controversy is important.

Does not giving a right to vote violate prisoners' rights?

What are my current thoughts?

 Actually, I'm confused between both sides, but now I think the prisoners shouldn't be allowed to vote for stability of society.

What is the opposition?

 Some people argue that prisoners also have a right to express their opinions and not giving the right to vote to them is unfair. They also say true democracy should embrace its citizens.
